Description of item
This is a lovely wine-red Buddhist altar with vibrant weeping cherry blossom lacquerwork painted on the cabinet door.
During morning and evening devotions, worshippers sit at the edge of the altar and, as they chant the daimoku, press the automatic opening and closing switch; the weeping cherry blossom door opens and the majestic principal image appears before their very eyes.
The four large push-in doors allow everyone in attendance to worship the Gohonzon together at the meeting.
