Experience of chanting the daimoku 10,000 times in the morning, No. 623: Every year on February 3rd, the anniversary of my joining Soka Gakkai, I call my younger brother to congratulate him.

February 3rd is a special day for me every year. It is the anniversary of my younger brother's joining the Soka Gakkai. "Today is your joining anniversary! Congratulations!" It has become a tradition for me to call my younger brother and say this every year.

I was 6 years old and my brother was 4. 62 years have passed since then. We are now elderly, but we still talk about the youth group, work, health and organizations on the phone.

We never run out of things to talk about, but in the end, we always come to the conclusion that "Damoku is the only thing we can do!" All we can do is demonstrate our faith and use daimoku as the foundation for kosen-rufu! This year, we had that same conversation.

I think it's really good that my brothers and I have been able to get along so well. The most important thing is to be healthy and have good relationships with your family and clan, isn't it? I am convinced that a life in which we overcome the challenges we face with faith as our foundation is a "life of absolute happiness."

As a member of the Soka Gakkai, I want to share this "state of absolute happiness" with as many people as possible. To that end, I will continue to work hard with my brothers, based on the daimoku.
