Long-awaited! Participate in the September roundtable discussion

I participated in the September roundtable discussion. Every time, we think about it and look forward to it! We cooperate with each other and hold it carefully for the sake of the Future Club and the participants.

This time, the Future Club is doing summer vacation research to find out just how strong two rhinoceros beetles are.

An older brother and younger brother, all in the third grade, and their mother stood at the front and made their presentation.
The participants enjoyed the event, which was based on the theme of "how many 10 yen coins can you carry in a box that has a string attached to it, and how many grams does a 10 yen coin weigh?", as well as the weight of a rhinoceros beetle and the weight of a 10 yen coin.

As a result, rhinoceros beetle ① was able to carry a 10 yen coin that was 24 times its own weight, and beetle ② was able to carry a 16 times its weight.
If you weigh 24kg, you would be able to pull 576kg!
The participants were thrilled at how the presentation allowed them to calculate the numbers and visualize the results in concrete terms.

My mother's will from 20 years ago

In fact, the district chief's mother, who passed away 20 years ago, left a will in which she said, "I want this place to be a venue for kosen-rufu, and I want my son and his wife to become the local district chief and women's chief and work to promote kosen-rufu in their area!"

At that time, I never imagined that someone as weak as me would become a district manager.
When I think of the wonderful previous district director and his wife, I thought this was impossible.
However, time passed and we expanded into the men's and adult groups, and now we have become a discussion venue together with all of you, and here we are standing before you as a married couple.
My mother's prayer and wish became a reality today!

I was moved by the story of how two generations of parents and children have accomplished their mission of kosen-rufu in their local area!
"Zadankai" is a wonderful event held all over Japan and the world, and we hope that it will continue to be an important place where people can connect with each other into the future!
