First Vow Service with Family

I took my family to the Vows and Prayer Meeting with my family. It was sunny, warm, and windless, and everyone was in perfect health. My elderly parents were ready to go and were waiting for me.
Beforehand, we explained to the family, who were participating for the first time, the significance of taking part in the Vow Prayer Meeting, and also prayed for a change in the family's destiny so that they could pray safely and without incident.I was in charge of the father, and the son was in charge of the mother.We also went through the details of the procedure in advance, and the day before, I made an additional home visit to check on the health of the parents and the family themselves.

My elderly parents were brought back to joyful life through President Ikeda's compassionate prayers and chanting!

More than 60 SGI members attended the cathedral, and Mother seemed surprised by the participation of members from overseas.

As Ikeda Sensei's powerful service finally began, I remembered that when I had previously performed the service with my family, I had been a little unclear about the Expedient Means Chapter. However, Ikeda's parents were so inspired by Ikeda Sensei's soulful service that they both performed the service smoothly and chanted the daimoku with all their might.

The parents and son seemed to have been given a new lease of life through the loving and nurturing practice and chanting of Ikeda Sensei, and they seemed like completely different people when they left. We will continue to make every home visit a priority and provide encouragement every day.
