To improve the operation of the remote control and receiver of the Soka Gakkai Buddhist altar: In the case of this Buddhist altar (what to do if there is no response even when you point the remote control at it)
Posted by 島幸弘
The remote control wirelessly sends signals to open and close switches.
The remote control acts as a transmitter, so it will not work unless its radio waves reach the receiver's sensor.
In this case, the altar will be the receiver (the sensor is a hole in the altar), so if you point the remote control transmitter (the transparent lamp) at it, it will work easily.
Also, since the automatic opening and closing of the altar's door involves a slight time lag due to the mechanics, it may take some getting used to operating the power on/off and opening and closing switches.
